Palace of the Llió Marquess: The importance of Riudebitlles in the middle of the 14th century is evident in the Llió Marquess Palace, which is a great example of Catalan Civil Gothic architecture. The symmetry of the façade is only broken on the ground floor; the rusted door is not located in the middle, as would traditionally be the case in big Gothic Catalan palaces.
El Pont Nou:
Peculiar aqueduct 80m long and 25m high. It was built in the 13th century but was partly ruined by an earthquake. Work began to restore it in 1672, finally being finished in 1721. |
