La Granada (Inhabitants 1.529).

The borough of La Granada is located in the central part of L'Alt Penedès and is 6.57km2. The land does not have many geographical accidents: the highest point is the Pedró de la Granada Peak (311m). Apart from main town of the same name, there are the neighbourhoods of Ell Carrer Nou, Els Pujols, Mas Massagué and El Cortei. La Granada (272m high) is located between the regional roads that go from Vilafranca to Igualada and from Vilafranca to Martorell, which are linked by a local road that is the beginning of the road towards Santa Fe del Penedès.

The old town, which is formed by the castle remains (partly destroyed) and the church still preserves a medieval atmosphere. The entrance portal has also survived.
