Les Cabanyes (Inhabitants 602).

It is very difficult to get lost at Les Cabanyes. It is one of the smallest towns in the region, forming an islet in the middle of the plain surrounded by the Penedès region. Les Cabanyes is formed by flat land, with a few geographical accidents at the southern end by the Sant Pau hill. The main economic activity is vineyards and small industry. The town was repopulated in the 12th century by the Hospital Order which founded the order of Sant Valentí de les Cabanyes – or Sant Valentí del Penedès, which moved to Vilafranca in 1306 keeping its name.
