El Pla del Penedès is located at the heart of the depression of the region. As such it is a plain land without many geographical accidents. El Pla is the local capital but there are also other important towns such as Les Parellades, Bonavista, El Mas Morer, Les Tarumbes and El Pujolet. Other important population centres are the houses from L’Aguilera and La Sala, Cal Janes, Cal Cerdà de Palou, Cal Raspall de Renardes, Cal Fontanals, Bergadanes, La Granja and Cal Saumell.

The bell tower and the church of Santa Magdalena:

The ground plan of the church is a on a Latin cross. Under the round arch of the two side windows of the central apse there are still remains of pictures with geometrical patterns from the 12the century. The bell tower is 22.2m high and was built in the 16th and 17th centuries.
